zTruth posted this article about a man who forced to cover up his tee shirt because it has Arabic writing on it.
Apparently this guy sued the airline and won $240,000.
I say good for him and good for the ACLU.
That is just ridiculous. Making someone remove their shirt because it has foreign language text on it? Come on! Serves the airline right for that crap!
Let's look at this from the other side of the coin. How would you feel if, as an American, you were visiting, for example, Saudi Arabia and upon trying to board a plane back to the states were told to remove your tee shirt because it said something like God Bless the USA or something to that effect? You would be screaming for some one's head.
I say if an Arab-American is proud of his heritage and wants to wear a tee shirt in support of that heritage, NOBODY has the right to tell him otherwise. And the whole thing about making the others on the plane feel uncomfortable, those morons just need to get over themselves!
