Arizona passes a law which states that anyone living in the United States illegally is committing a crime and the federal government wants to challenge it?
Okay, first of all doesn't it seem a little redundant to pass a law saying that doing something illegal is a crime?
Isn't that what a crime is? Something illegal?!?
But on top of the redundancy of a state having to pass a law saying something illegal is a crime, the federal government wants to come in and say that they can't pass that law?
What in the hell is going on in the White House? And in Congress?
Are these people really THAT flipping stupid? Have they not looked at a dictionary lately? Do they not know what ILLEGAL means?!?
Here, let me help our elected officials who obviously like any sort of common sense:
Illegal (adjective). Forbidden by law or statute. (This is from the Random House Dictionary 2010)And if that isn't simple enough, let's go to another definition:
Illegal alien (noun). A foreigner who has entered or resides in a country UNLAWFULLY.
Guess what? I'm going to let you in on an obviously little known secret. If you are residing in this country, you ARE committing a crime!!!
Our federal government has reached a new level of stupidity.
