What Do Basketball and the Tea Party Movement Have in Common?

Absolutely nothing! Or so I thought until I saw this article on The Huffington Post:

LeBron James Signing A Win For The Tea Party, Obama, Charlie Crist, John McCain, Anyone Else?

I really don't see the political significance the signing of Lebron James with the Miami Heat. Does anybody else?
