New Poll: Lieutenant Governor Oklahoma 2010

This poll asks the question:

Who Should Be Elected Lieutenant Governor of Oklahoma in 2010?

Your options are:

- Todd is currently a State Senator and is a former Secret Service Agent.
- Todd is running on the Republican ticket.

- Kenneth is currently a State Senator and a former State Representative.
- Kenneth is running on the Democratic ticket.

Richard Prawdzienski
- Richard is a real estate manager and former Chair of the Libertarian Party
- Richard is a United States Marine Corp veteran.
- Richard is running on the Libertarian Party ticket.

  1. I have no idea who I'm going to vote for on this. I'll probably just vote for Richard Prawdzienski out of protest.

  2. That's my plan I think.

Time to bring an end to the two-party system!!

Or rather...the one party system with two names.

I live in Kenneth Corn's Senate District and am not impressed. He has done nothing for this area and spent the last 12 years building a voting block of State Employees, and keeping people easy in poverty. He is a Liberal Socialist politician, but loved by every yellow dog in the district. He has never had a job other than elected office. I do not want him doing to the whole state what he has done for LeFlore County.

Todd Lamb has had real jobs and when the legislature is not in session works for an energy company in Edmond negotiating contracts the bring jobs to Oklahoma.

In November 2002, Independent Candidate for Governor, Gary Richardson, captured 14.21% of the statewide vote. 42.61% went to Republican Steve Largent and 43.27% to Democrat Brad Henry. Henry was elected by less than 1% of the vote.

“Conservatives” should think very carefully when voting in the Oklahoma Lt. Governor’s race this November. If you choose to put your anti-establishment eggs in the Libertarian basket of Richard Prowdzlrndki you may well get something you definitely do not want.

    Bobbie McAuliffe

  4. And Brad Henry was re-elected with 69% of the vote, so I think that one turned out okay.

  5. I was actually in Oklahoma during both of those elections. In the first one, I indeed did vote for the independent Gary Richardson. In the 2nd one I voted for Brad Henry.

I think Henry has been a pretty good governor. He isn't an ultra-super-leftist. He is a good centrist in my opinion. Like Dave, said, I think it all turned out okay.

As far as the current race for Lt Gov goes I am not impressed with anything I have heard about Corn. Lamb might a decent choice but my perception of him is that he is a party boy and we just don't need any more of those types. That is why my vote is going toward the Libertarian.

    People who served the public
in an elected position should have a background in
raising a family, working for a living and real actions in the experiences of life. Someone who cares only about
    himself and his tit sucking
    little group should not be
living off of tax money and
    donations. I WILL VOTE FOR
