Happy 49th Tony.....err...I mean, James!
True Romance (1993)
This film was directed by Tony Scott but was written Quentin Tarantino.
James plays the small part of Virgil, a mafia hit man searching for a bag of cocaine that was stolen by the main characters, Clarence and Alabama, played by Christian Slater and Patricia Arquette.
This movie had a phenomenal cast that included Dennis Hopper, Gary Oldman, Christopher Walken, Chris Penn, Tome Sizemore, Brad Pitt, Val Kilmer, Samuel L Jackson (very small part), Michael Rappaport, Bronston Pinchot, and Saul Rubinek.
I can't believe there was never a sequel made to this film. It was amazing.
Crimson Tide (1995)
Another Tony Scott film which, strangely enough, was co-written by.....you won't believe this..Quentin Tarantino and Richard Henrick.
This one stars Denzel Washington, Gene Hackman, and, of course, James G. in the small role as Lt. Bobby Dougherty.
This film was nominated for 3 Academy Awards but none for the acting.
The Last Castle (2001)
This was another really great movie but it wasn't directed by Tony Scott or written by Quentin Tarantino, LoL!
James plays Colonel Winters, the "warden" of a military prison in which Lieutenant General (that's a 3 star general) Eugene Irwin, played by Robert Redford, ends up in.
