Here is a list of some of my favorite "Sounding Off On...." posts. Along with the title and the link to the post, I have placed a quote or two from the post to give you a brief overview of it.
Gun Control:
"I am FOR firmer gun control laws. I don't mind that there is a 7-day waiting period to buy a handgun.....[but]..I don't think it is right for the government to break down your door and take your guns from you....."
Tax Reform:
"...the federal income tax system is broken....I would approve of a federal sales tax to replace the income tax [the Fair Tax].......if that was not an option.....the best course of action is a flat tax rate...everybody pays their fair share...."
Drug Control:
"...I think everyone should be allowed to use drugs..as long as they are held responsible for the consequences of their actions......government prohibition is a terrible approach to limiting the misuse and abuse of narcotics.....I think the government should decriminalize drugs...and stop prosecuting non-violent drug offenders...."
Capital Punishment:
"...I don't think it is my right, your right, or the government's right to dictate when a person should or should not die...I do not think that the death penalty is much the deterrent that so many people think it is. I do not think that taking one person's life to make up for that person taking someone else's life gives the deceased or the deceased family any justice or any closure........"
