The Gaslight Anthem: Discography of the Moment

The Gaslight Anthem is a rock band that formed in 2005 in New Jersey.  I did not really start getting into this band until I heard the album American Slang but ever since then, I have been hooked on this band.  They are an amazing combination of punk, rock 'n roll, and soul.  Amazingly, this band has stuck with the same lineup since its formation, which isn't so easy to say these days it seems.  The band gets its influences from bands such as the Misfits, The Bouncing Souls, Bruce Springsteen, The Replacements, and Pearl Jam, however you can also hear influences from other sources as well.  I'm really surprised that the band is not more popular than they really are. It seems that they have more of an underground following but they are definitely a band that (hopefully) will be around for a long time to come.
If you have never heard their music, I would suggest you listen to American Slang or Handwritten first.
