I think that the corrupted CEOs are an even bigger problem. Those crooks need to accept some smaller salaries and I would even go so far as to say the men currently holding those positions need to be given other employment opportunities.

Let the companies start over from scratch with men that are not as crooked and will take less money for the good of the country and the good of their companies.Otter Limitshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11975093403377963897noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11608895.post-91388493550614197412008-12-13T22:37:00.000-06:002008-12-13T22:37:00.000-06:00The pensions kill the auto companies, but so do th...The pensions kill the auto companies, but so do the execs. Their little "excursion" to DC the first time could have been better spent. The companies are wasteful, produce wasteful vehicles and do not practice adaptive management. They need some major reform-- as an entire industry!Mariahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13783085707283000645noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11608895.post-79169010445097683332008-12-13T02:13:00.000-06:002008-12-13T02:13:00.000-06:00Skye is right. GM says the average UAW laborer makes $29.78 per hour, while Toyota says it pays about $30 per hour.

That doesn't include healthcare and pension costs

Shakesvilleskyehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13043521899901653277noreply@blogger.com
