Top 13 Albums of 1993

It has been a couple of months since I've done a "13" list.

This morning, my friend Dave (aka Lefty, aka Nubs), who runs the Oklahoma 
Lefty blog posted a Top 20 list of Albums that were released in 1993.

1993 was an interesting year. Personally, I dropped out of college and joined the Air Force. Musically, grunge was the big thing and a lot of good non-grunge albums got lost in the mass of the metal-punk hybrid sounds that originated from the great Pacific Northwest. The best selling album of that year (which not suprisingly won't be coming anywhere near my Top 13 list, nor any great music list on this site for that matter) was Whitney Houston's Bodyguard Soundtrack. The #1 single of that year was Meat Loaf's "I'd Do Anything For Love" from the Bat Out of Hell II album.

So here they are, listed in reverse chronological order (best album of the year at the bottom of the list), the Top 13 albums of 1993:
